The Women’s Club Health and Fitness Center Missoula will host a monthly support group for adults caring for aging parents. The first meeting will be tonight from 6-8pm at The Women’s Club Health and Fitness Center in Missoula. For more information, call Helen at 728-4410.

Draught Works Brewery will host Clark Fork Coalition Chug for Charity where a portion of every beer sold between 5 and 8pm will be donated to the Clark Fork Coalition. Chug for Charity will be held on Tuesday, May 7th from 5-8pm at Draught Works Brewery in Missoula. This is a 21+ event. For more information, call 541-1592.

KBGA invites interested parties that are over 21 years of age to attend Masaki Batoh’s Brain Pulse Music. Brain Pulse Music is experimental bioelectric procedures that use electronic and musical processes to reconcile the spirit and body. This event will be held on Tuesday, May 7th from 9pm-2am at Palace Lounge in Missoula. For more information, call 243-6226.

Missoula Public Library will host a free lecture and participatory class on meditation given by Patrick Marsolek. This class is an introduction to a Four Week class that will be offered in May and June. It will cover the basics of meditation. This class will be held on Tuesday, May 7th from 6:30-7:30pm at Missoula Public Library.

The Missoula Responds to Cancer Coalition will host a Cancer Resource Guide Review. The Coalition invites all cancer survivors and other knowledgeable about cancer to critique and review the Resource Guide, which is to be released in June. Volunteers will receive a free lunch or dinner, depending on the time they wish to volunteer during. The review will take place over lunch on Thursday, May 9th at Ronald McDonald House in Missoula; and over dinner on Monday, May 13th in St. Pat’s Conference Center in Missoula. Garden City Harvest in Missoula invites the public to volunteer for veggies. Every day between 10am and 4pm, beginning Wednesday, May 9th, stop by either of Garden City Harvest’s two locations to help plant, weed, and grow, while learning some gardening basics. Take home some veggies in return. Call 523-3663 for more information about volunteering.
