Everyone in the Hamilton area is encouraged to use and support the efforts of the Ravalli County Community Recycling Project. Please bring paper, newspaper, cardboard, cans, and plastics to their recycling location, 131 Old Corvallis Road on Saturday mornings from 9:00 – 12:00 and on Monday afternoons from 2:30 – 5:30. The Missoula Farmers Market Music Committee is currently accepting applications for the 2013 season that runs from May 11 – October 26th. Early applications are encouraged as the reviews begin April 1st. For more information and an application, call 218-8353.

The YWCA of Great Falls will hold a vigil and memorial to increase awareness of the vulnerable members of the Great Falls community, and advocate for the ending the violence against women and children world-wide. The event will be held tomorrow night, beginning at 5:30 p.m. at the YWCA, 220 - 2nd Street North. For more information, please call Janet at 452-1315.

A free historic book club event will take place at 6:30 tomorrow night, February 14th, at the Museum at Central School, 124 2nd Avenue East in Kalispell. The featured book is “A Ride Through the Infernal Regions, Yellowstone’s First Tourists,” by Calvin Clawson. For more information on the book discussion, call 756-8381.

Three upcoming events will take place at the Missoula Senior Center this week: a Swedish Pancake Supper will begin at 4:00 p.m. on February 14th which will be followed by Bingo Night at 6:30. Then, on February 19th, the annual general membership meeting will be held at 10:00 am and on February 20th a potluck supper will be held at the Center at 5:30. The Zoo Town Arts Community Center is offering the public a unique Valentine’s Day workshop: bring a date and learn how to draw and paint one another’s portrait; or, alternatively, have fun painting on your personal canvas on a design of your own creation. The workshop will be held tomorrow night, February 14th from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. at the Zoo Town Arts Community Center, 235 N 1st St W. Call them at 549-7555 if you’d like more information.
