YWCA of Great Falls has two upcoming classes available for registration. A CPR Class will be held Tuesday, January 15th from 6-8pm. A First-Aid Class will be held on Tuesday, January 29th from 6-8pm. For more information about either class, or to register, call 452-7449.
The Art Associates of Missoula 3rd Wednesday Program presents Julia Galloway, Professor and teacher of ceramics and Director of the School of Art at UM. The public is welcome to attend this program, which will be held on Wednesday, January 16th at 10am at Missoula Art Museum.
The Flathead Chapter of Montana Native Plant Society will host Whitebark Pines-the Oldest Residents in Glacier where Rebecca Lawrence of Glacier National Park will discuss of Whitebark pine and the challenges and successes of restoring them in the Park. This event will be held on Wednesday, January 16th at 7pm at Teakettle Community Hall in Columbia Falls. For more information, call 892-0129.
Missoula Senior Center invites the public to three upcoming events. A Potluck Supper will be held on Wednesday, January 16th at 5:30pm. A Grizzly Peak Informational Meeting will be held on Thursday, January 24th from 10:15-10:40am. And a Saturday Night Dance with “Heart to Heart Duo” will be held on Saturday, January 26th from 7-10pm. For more information, call 543-7154.
The Sustainable Business Council will host a social and a presentation to discuss Reaching Toward Environmentally Sustainable Health Care. Abbie Shelter and Violence Free Crisis Line will host The Path to Recovery-Survivors of Sexual Assault Group for adult women who have been victims of sexual assault. This is a therapy-facilitated, confidential group provided free-of-charge for women to come together and begin the healing process. The group will meet on Thursdays beginning Thursday, January 17th, through March 7th, from 5:30-7pm at Trinity Lutheran Church in Kalispell. Registration is required and ends TODAY.
