Rocky Mountain Development Council will host a Low Income Energy Assistance Clinic. LIEAP assists qualified renters and owners with the cost of heating bills. The clinic will be held on Wednesday, November 7th at 10am in the Neighborhood Center Dining Room in Helena. Attendees should call ahead to clarify what documents to bring. A free Developmental and Preschool Screening Clinic for children ages 0 to 5 in the Bonner School District will be held on Wednesday, November 7th at Bonner Elementary School beginning at 9am. For more information and to schedule an appointment for your child’s screening, call 258-6151. A screening will also be held in the Clinton School District on Thursday, November 8th at Clinton Elementary beginning at 9am. The Missoula Bike and Pedestrian Office would like to remind bicycle riders and pedestrians to commute safely at night. Dust off those bike lights and replace old batteries. Riding without a light is both dangerous and illegal. Be safe. Be seen. Be bright, and use your lights.

Disabled American Veterans is currently looking for volunteer van drivers to transport veterans to their scheduled VA appointments. Volunteers must have a valid driver’s license, have his/her own vehicle, and be able to obtain auto insurance for his/her self. It does not matter how many days or hours you are able to give. All time is valuable. If you are interested in volunteering, call 447-7760.

The Five Valleys Chorus of Sweet Adelines invites women of all ages to practice Christmas music with them on Tuesday evenings, and join them when they perform at retirement homes, for the Parade of Lights, and at the Annual Christmas Concert at Southgate Mall. Rehearsals take place on Tuesday evenings from 7-8:30pm at First Baptist Church, east door, corner of Woody and Pine Street in Missoula, near the county courthouse.
