Today's Highlight: Safe Passage Counseling invites all women to participate in the 20th Annual Celebrating Women Gathering. “We are the Ones (we’ve been waiting for)” is the theme for this year’s gathering, to be held Friday September 21st through Sunday the 23rd at Boulder Hot Springs. Hamilton Farmer’s Market Co-op will hold its Harvest Fest and Giant Pumpkin Contests this Saturday, September 22nd from 9am-12:30pm at the Hamilton Farmer’s Market. For more information and to register, call 961-0004.
InnerRoads Wilderness Program is now enrolling for their program for troubled youth. The program includes a four-week therapeutically focused backcountry expedition, and two weeks of community and family activities. The expedition leaves on October 5th. The Glacial Lake Missoula Chapter of the Ice Age Floods Institute will host a hike to the Lake Elevation Marker on Mt. Jumbo on Wednesday, September 19th at 5pm. Meet at the Mt. Jumbo Saddle Trailhead. Also, Fort Missoula Native Plant Gardens will host a Basket Weaving and Cordage Class on Thursday, September 20th from 5:30-7:30pm in the Fort Missoula Native Plant Garden Classroom. The Missoula Senior Center will host a Potluck Supper on Wednesday, September 19th at 5:30pm. The Senior Center will also host a Grizzly Homecoming Celebration on Saturday, September 22nd at 11am. Both events are open to the public.
