Today's Highlight: Today’s University and Community calendar is partly sponsored by Writing Coaches of Missoula, a community based organization providing individual writing assistance to Missoula area middle and high school students. The National Bison Range would like to announce to fall hours which will be effective as of tomorrow, September 4th. The Visitor Center will be open from 8am-4pm weekdays and 9am-5pm weekends. The scenic drives will be open 6:30am to dark. For more information call, 644-2211.

Friendship Force Missoula will hold a potluck supper and meeting to welcome visitors from Ottawa, Ontario. All are welcom to attend the meeting, to be held on Wednesday, September 5th at 6pm at 3108 Clark St, Missoula. For more information, call 529-6683.

ACLU of Montana will host a free public viewing of the documentary “Code of the West”, that follows the political process of marijuana policy reform in Montana. The viewing will take place on Wednesday, September 5th at 6:30pm at the River Street Dance Theater, Hamilton. For more information, call 370-7937.

The Center for American Indian Policy and Applied Research, CSKT, and the WILD Foundation invite the public to the Regional Gathering of the Native Lands and Wilderness Council. The council will center around land and marine conservation issues and will take place Wednesday, September 5th- Friday the 7th at Salish Kootenai College, Pablo.
