Reflections West for August 14, 2012 8:30 PM - 8:35 PM [Program Website]
Today's Highlight: Lindsey Appell, a current student at UM, writes about her conflicted upbringing in small town of Roundup Montana. She pairs this with a poem about Roundup written by Nancy Hunter and published in The Last Best Place: A Montana Anthology
Reflections West is a weekly 5-minute program that presents the reflections of writers and scholars on the American West. These thinkers pair their own thoughts with a passage from literature and history.
Reflections West’s aim is simple: to circulate—as widely as possible—wonderful passages of literature and history of the West in a thoughtful and thought-provoking way.
The program is produced and hosted by University of Montana professors, Lisa Simon and David Moore.
