Today's Highlight: Today’s University and Community Activities are sponsored by the Montana Natural History Center who is offering week long, outdoor exploration summer programs in Missoula, for kids ages 3 and up. They are currently accepting registration for four weeks of summer camp adventures and you can find more information online at Montana Naturalist dot org.

Everyone is invited to come and cheer on the kids playing in the All-Abilities Baseball game that will take place tomorrow night, July 26th from 4:00 – 7:30 pm at Ogren Park Allegiance Field in Missoula. This game will help raise funds for the proposed All-Abilities Playground Project – Montana’s first, large-scale universally accessible playground. “Modern Native Warriors,” a new 33-minute documentary will be shown at the Bozeman Public Library on Thursday, July 26th at 5:00 pm and will be followed by a discussion with the filmmaker. This free documentary explores the identity of Native American Veterans as they relate to the history of American colonial expansion and modern military service. The Friendship Force of Flathead Valley will meet tomorrow night, July 26th at Vista Linda in Somers. A 5:00 o’clock social hour will precede the dinner that begins at 6:00. Members will give a program on their recent trip to Charlotte, North Carolina, and Huntsville, Alabama, and plans for hosting an incoming group from Hanover, Germany in August will be discussed. The Montana Natural History Center in Missoula will host a workshop on how to design an All-Seasons Garden with Native Shrubs. This workshop will be led by botanist and native plant landscape designer, Marlyn Marler, on Thursday, July 26th from 5:30 – 7:30 pm. The Alzheimer’s Association in Montana invites everyone across the state to start up a team for a walk to end Alzheimer’s, the 6th leading cause of death in the nation. The walk will be held September 16th, but you’re encouraged to form your teams and start training together.
