Today's Highlight: The Flathead Chapter of the Montana Native Plant Society invites the community to attend the Columbia Mountain Evening Stroll to view the spring and early summer blooms. The Stroll will begin on Tuesday, June 5th at 5:30pm at the Columbia Mountain Trailhead, Columbia Falls. For more information, call 888-7863.

Project Homeless Connect is a two-day event that brings agencies and businesses together to give the homeless immediate help by offering various services and donated items. Donation boxes are located at each Park Side Federal Credit Union location in the Flathead Valley and at Community Action Partnership of Northwestern Montana, 214 Main Street, Kalispell. Project Homeless Connect will take place on Thursday, June 7th from 11am-6pm and on Friday, June 8th from 9am-1pm at the Samaritan House Administration Building, 1110 West 2nd Street, Kalispell. Missoula Aging Services will take applications from adults 60 years and older and offer coupons for the Senior Farmer’s Market Nutrition Program. Applications will be taken and coupons given out on Tuesday, June 5th from 8:30am-4:30pm and Wednesday, June 6th from 8:30am-noon. Money spent at Secret Seconds Thrift Stores goes directly toward assisting women in the YWCA domestic violence shelter by providing bus passes, diapers, emergency shelter and more. Secret Seconds Thrift Stores are located at 920 Kensington and 1136 Broadway, both in Missoula, and are open 10am-6pm. For more information visit ywcamissoula.org.

SpectrUM’s Third Annual Weird Science Dance Party will be held this week! This event will feature science exhibits, live music, silent auction, and Circus of Science activities! The Party will take place Friday, June 8th from 6-9pm at Caras Park, Missoula. For more information, call 243-4828.

The 26th Annual Montana Natural Resources Youth Camp invites youth ages 14-18 to spend one week learning about Montana’s Natural resources including wildlife, forests, streams, soils, geology, and more.
