Today's Highlight: Mary Jane Nealon

During this program, Mary Jane Nealon talks about how poetry saved her life when she was carrying the grief of dying patients. She also reads from her memoir, Beautiful Unbroken: One Nurse's Life and tells why she moved from Jersey City to Missoula, Montana, after the September 11 attacks.
Beautiful Unbroken: One Nurse's Life, won the 2010 Bakeless Prize for Nonfiction. Nealon is also the author of two collections of poetry, Immaculate Fuel and Rogue Apostle. She lives in Missoula, Montana.
