Reflections West for February 28, 2012 9:00 PM - 9:05 PM [Program Website]
Today's Highlight: Brandon Reintjes, a curator at the Montana Museum of Art & Culture, reflects on his task of cultivating curiosity at the museum, especially regarding a new exhibit, “Curiosity: Selections from the Permanent Collection” that runs until May 9th.
He pairs his selection with some 16th century advice on collecting by artist Gabriel Kaldemarck
For more information on the exhibit see: http://www.umt.edu/montanamuseum
Reflections West is a weekly 5-minute program that presents the reflections of writers and scholars on the American West. These thinkers pair their own thoughts with a passage from literature and history.
Reflections West’s aim is simple: to circulate—as widely as possible—wonderful passages of literature and history of the West in a thoughtful and thought-provoking way.
The program is produced and hosted by University of Montana professors, Lisa Simon and David Moore.
