Miguel Altieri an internationally renowned Agro ecologist and professor at UC Berkley, will be giving a free lecture entitled, “Agroecology and the Right to Food” Tuesday, Sept 27th from noon to 1pm as part of the Mansfield Center’s Brown Bag Lecture Series. A free Developmental and Preschool Screening for children ages 5 and under will be held on Wednesday, Sept. 28th from 9am to 11:30am at the Alberton Elementary School, call 722-4413 to schedule an appointment. Another clinic will be held that afternoon at the Superior Elementary School from 12:30pm to 3pm. Call 822-36900 to schedule an appointment in Superior. The screenings will include vision, hearing, motor skills and language and communication assessments.
