Today's Highlight: Chelsea Niewald, a UM undergraduate, reflects on the two disparate worlds she must bridge—the one of a hopeful college student and the less hopeful world on the reservation. She pairs her reflection it with a poem by Sheryl Noethe, a Missoula poet
Reflections West is a weekly 5-minute program that presents the reflections of writers and scholars on the American West. These thinkers pair their own thoughts with a passage from literature and history.
Reflections West’s aim is simple: to circulate—as widely as possible—wonderful passages of literature and history of the West in a thoughtful and thought-provoking way.
The program is produced and hosted by University of Montana professors, Lisa Simon and David Moore.
