1st Time Homebuyers’ classes are being offered Tuesday, August 30th and Wednesday August 31st from 5 to 9 pm at the Thornton Building, 65 E. Broadway in Butte, by Headwaters RC&D Area, Inc and the National Affordable Housing Network. These courses are funded in part by the department of Housing and Urban Development, the Montana Board of Housing, The Montana Department of Commerce and NeighborWorks Montana. Lifelong Learning Courses at the U of M are continuing this Sept, Oct and Nov for locals 50 and older. A variety of courses are available including a historical bus trip to Fort Benton, and a special series appreciating the art of Ben Steele, which includes a breakfast meeting with the artist. All are welcome to Novel Destinations: Eating Your Words an informal discussion of food and its prominent role in the novel.
