Today's Highlight: The Columbia Falls Library Association invites the public to a booksale held every Thursday from 5:00 – 7:30 pm during the Columbia Falls Farmer’s Market. Explore planets and distant galaxies during free public observing nights this Friday, August 19th at the Blue Mountain Observatory outside of Missoula. Observing will begin at approximately 9:45, but the viewing may be cancelled if the sky is cloudy or thunderstorms threaten. The community of Alberton is currently holding public farmer’s markets every Thursday evening from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. with music and dinner available. The market is located in the parking lot across from the Boxcar Bakery. Then on Sunday afternoons, enjoy another local farmer’s market at the Target Range School on South Avenue in Missoula, at the east parking lot. You can pick up your local produce there from 10:00 am to 2:00 p.m.
