Join Norm Jacobson as he discusses errors in the original works of David Thompson, a renowned geographer, Wednesday July 13th from 6:30 to 8pm at the Arts and Technology Building’s large meeting room on the FVCC Campus, 777 Grandview Drive, in Kalispell. Reach out to other cultures with the Western Montana Friendship Force. All are welcome to their annual Pot Luck Picnic and Meeting where a cultural exchange with Australia will be discussed. Get moving with the Bitterroot Breastfeeding Coalition’s Bitterroot Baby Run and Stroller Stampede happening Saturday August 6th, at 9am at the South Valley Child and Family Center, 515 Madison St in Hamilton. Kids ages 9 - 12 interested in 4-H are invited to participate in activities involving the care and showing of small farm animals, photography, crafts and more at the 4-H day camp happening July 27th from 8am until 12pm at the Missoula County Fairgrounds. Severe winter and spring weather has taken its toll on the National Bison Range’s Red Sleep Mountain Drive. The gravel road will be under construction throughout the week July 11th. On Tuesday July 19th Red Sleep will close from 6:30am until 4pm then reopen for evening use. For more information call the Refuge at 644-2211.
