Today's Highlight: Today’s University and Community Activities are sponsored by Hooked on Art, a Bonner festival honoring Walter Hook with guest artist George Gogas. The public is invited to attend the spring semester Natural Resources and Environmental Policy Forum at The University of Montana in Missoula. The forum begins Thursday, February 10th at noon in the UM School of Law Castles Center where Charles Wilkinson will speak on “Writing Tribal History.” If you have any questions, call Sarah at 207-9071.
Through March of 2011, if you qualify for SNAP programs or need assistance and are in need for a new car battery, antifreeze, wiper blades and fluid, and misc. belts, then go to the Web site bluemountain4H.org. The 5th annual Humane Society of Western Montana’s “Empty the Shelter Adopt-a-thon” will be held this Friday and Saturday, February 11th and 12th. The shelter, located at 5930 Highway 93 South in Missoula, will be open Friday afternoon from 4:00 – 9:00 pm and on Saturday from 12:00 noon – 4:00 pm.
