Today's Highlight: An informal aerial dance showing from the adventurous students of Dance 391 at the University of Montana in Missoula will be held tomorrow afternoon, January 20th. This free event of aerial choreography will be held in the Masquer Theatre of the PARTV building on the mountain campus from 12:30 – 1:30 pm. Call Erin at 243-4488 if you have any questions regarding this performance.

Join Families First Parent Educators of Missoula for a presentation titled, “Big Brains, Bad Grades: Understanding Underachievement.” The class is available to ALL interested parents and will be held tomorrow night from 6:30 – 8:00 pm at Chief Charlo School, 56 Longview Drive. The Daly Mansion, located on the Eastside Highway between Hamilton and Corvallis, invites the public to attend the 25th Anniversary Gala on Friday, January 21st at 6:00 pm. The evening includes hors d-ouevres, drinks, desserts, self-guided tours of the Mansion, a fireworks display, and dancing in the formal living room with music provided by the Bigsky Mudflaps. The University of Montana Jazz Program will present a “Quick Draw” fundraiser this Friday night at the St. Anthony Parish Center, 217 Tremont St in Missoula. The event begins at 7:30 with live art created by several Montana artists. Great music will be performed by UM Combo and Jazz bands. For more information call Lance at 243-5071.

The deadline is approaching for a call for entries for the 34th International Wildlife Film Festival. Entries are accepted through January 31st. Those who are interested may enter directly through the IWFF Web site: www.wildlifefilms.org or call 728-9380.

Volunteers are urgently needed for the 2011 Winter Special Olympics that will be held on Tuesday, January 25 – Wednesday, January 26th. The Olympics will be held this year at Lost Trail/Powder Mountain Ski Resort. Winter sports skills are NOT required to volunteer, so if you can help out, call Carla at 363-3028.
