Today's Highlight: PFLAG will have their regular meeting, Tuesday, January 18th at 7pm in Great Falls at the Metropolitan Community Church of Montana, 1220 17th South. Information at 771-1070.
Missoula International Friendship Program is looking for volunteers to be Community Friends for the incoming foreign university students and scholars. Community Friends meet with their student or scholar once a month for two semesters. Those interested in applying can find the form at www.mifp.org or by calling Foreign Student and Scholar Services at 243-2226. Completed applications should be received by Wednesday, January 19th to be considered for the Spring semester.
Art Associates of Missoula will host an interactive demonstration on mixing and seeing color, Wednesday, January 19th from 10am to noon at the Missoula Art Museum, downstairs in the AAM Education Center.
“Four Pillars of the Romantic Piano” will be offered to lifelong learners in the Bitterroot Valley. The course will include live performances and will run from 10 to 11:30am, Wednesdays, January 26th through February 16th at the Hamilton Performing Arts Center, 327 Fairgrounds Road. A Carousel for Missoula will be closed until Friday, January 21st for maintenance. Re-opening Saturday, January 22nd at 11am.
Zootown Arts Community Center will offer a Basic Glass Fusing Class, Tuesday, January 18th from 6 to 7:30pm. Make earrings, wine stoppers, trays and more. Register at 549-7555 or info@zootownarts.org.
