Today's Highlight: The Main Library in Kalispell invites teens in grades 6 – 12 to a Game Party that will be held from 4:00 – 5:30 tomorrow in the library’s basement meeting room. Teens can come and enjoy snacks and play a variety of games, including Playstation games as well as card games and board games. No registration is necessary. The Bitterroot National Forest invites everyone to join interpreters and naturalists for their September Moonwalk Presentation beginning at 7:30 tomorrow night at the Blodgett Campground. Jennifer Palladini, PhD Candidate at the University of Montana will discuss the biology of native pollinators, such as bees, butterflies, birds, and moths. Participants may want to bring a lawn chair and flashlight. Call 363-7100 for directions or other information.

The University of Montana’s Students for Peace and Justice will screen the movie, “A Little Bit of Too Much Truth” on Thursday, September 23rd at 7:00 pm in the Urey Underground Lecture Hall on the UM mountain campus. The film, directed by Philippe Diaz and narrated by Martin Sheen, exposes poverty for what it is and inspires us all to take some form of action. A discussion will follow this screening.

Do you have a great idea for designing a scarecrow? If you do, then enter the 5th annual Stevensville Scarecrow Contest that will be held on Friday, October 1st. More information regarding this contest and entry forms are available at www.sassart.org. Call 777-0520 for additional information.

The International Wildlife Films of Missoula announces their new after school visual and performing arts program that’s available every weekday for kids ages 7 – 13. From 3:00 – 6:00 pm kids can learn to make films, receive photography lessons, go on field trips and watch award-winning films.
