Today's Highlight: A Preschool Screening Clinic for children ages 0 – 5 in the Arlee School District will be held from 8:30 am to 3:00 pm on Thursday, September 16th at the Arlee School Headstart on Lumpry Road. The screening will include gross motor, fine motor, language concepts, communication skills, communication concepts as well as hearing and vision screenings. The Western Environmental Law Center invites the public to a visual and discussion presentation of “The Wolverine Way.” Douglas Chadwick will share his story and reveal the threats the animal faces on a warming planet. The presentation will be given in Helena on Thursday, September 16th at 7:00 pm at the Myrna Loy Center and on Friday, September 17th at 7:00 pm at the Montana Natural History Center in Missoula. A grand opening for the new exhibit, “Go Grow Grocer,” will be held from 3:00 – 7:00 pm at the Families First Museum in Missoula. The exhibit offers an educational, healthy, and fun approach to grocery shopping. Activities will include games such as Veggie Twister, Fruity Musical Chairs, as well as an offering of fruits, veggies, and face painting. The Missoula Art Museum invites the public to an artist reception, gallery talk and Artini Thursday, beginning at 5:30 tomorrow night.
