Today's Highlight: Humanities Montana will host "The State of Montana: A Conversation with Pat Williams and Lorents Grosfield,and moderated by Brian Kahn." This program will discuss how Montana is faring a decade into the new millennium and will be held TONIGHT, March 24 at 7:30 pm at the DoubleTree Hotel in Missoula. The Community Forum on Middle East Solutions invites the public to a discussion by Anan Abu Taleb on Thursday, March 25th at 7:00 pm at the Whitefish Public Library. Titled, “The Struggle Goes On,” Mr. Abu Taleb will discuss his childhood in Gaza, the present situation, and his statement of hope that things can change for the better. The Flathead Valley Community College’s Honors Symposium presents “Social Entrepreneurship,” at 7:00 pm on Thursday, March 25th in the community meeting room of the Arts and Technology building on the campus in Whitefish. Habitat for Humanity of Missoula invites the public to a photography workshop on digital and film photography given by Mark Gogrseth. The workshop will be given tomorrow night from 6:30 – 8:30 pm at St Paul’s Lutheran Church, 202 Brooks Ave. For more information, contact Frankie at 549-8210.

The Students for Peace and Justice invite the public to view the film, “The Listening Project.” This film is a cinematic journey around the world in search of the meaning of America and will be shown at 7:00 pm in the UC Theatre on the University of Montana campus in Missoula. The University of Montana International Programs invites the public to the lecture, “The New Social Order: Emigration from Georgia,” which will be given by Ia Iashvili, a geography associate professor from Tbilisi State University. MAPS Media Institute, an after school program for high school students throughout the Bitterroot Valley, will host a premiere of its 2010 student films.
