Today's Highlight: "Jimmy Blythe Pianist" Jimmy Blythe was one of the best pianists on the SouthSide of Chicago during the 1920s, and is credited with making the first recording of Boogie-woogie. This "Solo-recital" explores the musical magic of this little-known Professor of the Piano. (recordings from 1924-1928).
