Today's Highlight: Middle School and High School students can win some great prizes by writing a one act play about living an addiction free. Western Montana Addiction Services and Mothers Against Drunk Driving in Ravalli County want you to submit your play by January 15th. Call 532-9149 details on how to enter.
Do you live in Great Falls and know of some needs in the community? The City Commission annually receives federal grants that focus on benefiting people with low to moderate incomes. They will be hosting a public meeting to hear what you have to sayabout community development needs. The meeting is on Tuesday December 15th at 7PM on the second floor of the Civic Center. Want to hand paint some holiday gifts this year? Zootown Arts Community Center in Missoula lets you choose from 15 different types of pottery to paint with a wide array of colors. Their hours are Monday through Friday noon to eight and Saturday noon to 5. Zootown also offers an afterschool program for young artists in first through fifth grade from 3:30 to 5pm Monday through Friday. They need 48 hours notice. The Whitefish Library Anime Club will be screening the show Moon Phase. There will be popcorn and refreshments this Tuesday from 4-5PM. Call Martha at 758-5713 for more information.
Missoula County Commissioners are holding a public meeting to discuss consolidating election precincts and polling places with Election Administrator Vickie Zeier. Commissioners will share fiscal and logistical information and have time for public comment. Come by room 201 of the Missoula County Courthouse on Wednesday December 16th at 1:30PM to participate. Parents, Families and Friends of Lesbians and Gays of Great Falls will be having their regular monthly meeting and Christmas Party on Tuesday December 15th at 6PM. They meet at 1220 17th Street South. Call John or Barb at 453-3349 to find our more.

How do you feel about Shakespeare? Haven't read him since high school? His funny, exciting violent and challenging work is more fun and rewarding to read with a group. Join the Missoula Public Library's new reading group Everyone's Shakespeare tomorrow at 7PM. This month's selection is "A Midsummer Night's Dream." Free copies are available at the Accounts Desk.
