Today's Highlight: "The Latin Infusion"
Harpist virtuoso Edmar Castaneda plucks from the jazz, Afro-Cuban and Colombian joropo traditions. Brazilian percussionist Airto has worked with Miles Davis, Joe Zawinal and Chick Corea. He'll lead our Brazilian jazz Carnival with Toninho Horta (guitar), Mark Egan (bass) and Kenny Werner (piano)
Jazz at Lincoln Center's Peabody Award–winning radio series, Jazz From Lincoln Center, is hosted by Wynton Marsalis and broadcast weekly to over 240 public radio affiliates nationwide through the Jazz Satellite Network. The show features the Lincoln Center Jazz Orchestra along with contemporary jazz composers and performers.
