Briggs writes traditional and urban fantasy. Her Mercedes Thompson series recently made the New York Times Best Seller List. Briggs has published ten books, and another is scheduled for release in January of 2008. Briggs’ stories have appeared in two anthologies: “Silver Birch, Blood Moon” — which won the World Fantasy Award — and “On The Prowl.”
