Today's Highlight: Meals on Wheels in Missoula urgently needs volunteer drivers to deliver meals weekdays between 10:30am and 12:30pm. Mileage reimbursement is available and you may volunteer as often as you life. If you are interested in helping serve an increasing need in our community, please call Missoula Aging Services at 728-7682.

A free support group will take place in Kalispell for individuals and family members living with Lupus, Fibromyalgia and Auto-Immune Diseases. The group will meet on June 13th from 7 to 9pm at The Summit Conference Room #3, 205 Sunnyview Lane, on the backside of the Summit Athletic Center. Don’t forget to register for session #1 and 2 of the YMCA of Missoula’s Summer Swimming Lessons. Today is registration for YMCA members and tomorrow, June 11th registration opens for members of the general community. Registration is on a first-come, first-serve basis and financial assistance is available. To learn more about the schedule and times of lessons, call 721-9622.

The Daly Mansion, located on the Eastside Highway in Hamilton, is now opened for the summer season. Tours are conducted on the hour from 10am until 3pm everyday and upcoming events include the Summer Music Series where local musicians perform free concerts in the Gazebo on Sundays at Noon. The Hellgate High School class of 1998 will be holding it’s 10 year reunion beginning at 6:30pm on Friday June 20th in Missoula at the Holiday Inn Parkside featuring Reverand Slanky. Saturday, June 14th the 6th Annual Sustainability Tour will be held in Missoula. The day will begin with a Gray Water workshop at MUD, 629 Phillips St. and then feature tours of 12 green homes in the area and a chance to meet with green building experts. Tour options include a self-guided, bike, bus and moped. Tickets on sale at Rockin Rudy’s, Burley’s Green Goods Mercantile and the homeWORD office, 127 N. Higgins. Total Immersion: A Scriptwriting Intensive is a two day playwriting workshop to kick off Colony 13 being held June 14th and 15th from 9am until 8pm at the PAR Radio TV building on the University of Montana campus. The Montana Professional Artists Association Annual Art Show and Sale will take place this weekend, June 13th through 15th at the Bitterroot River Inn in Hamilton. There will be a reception Friday from 6pm until 10pm and the show is open Saturday 10 am until 6pm and Sunday 10am until 4 pm. Admission is free every day of the event.

Habitat for Humanity is holding an introduction of their organization today at 5:30pm in the Board Room of the Missoula Public Library. Anyone interested in learning more about the need for affordable housing and how Habitiat volunteers come from all walks of life to build a better world are invited to attend. Volunteers are needed to work on building sites, on special projects, on committees and in the Habitat office. Call 549-8210 for more information.
