Leskovar’s narrative nonfiction book, One Night In A Bad Inn, relates the story of her great-grandmother and grandmother. The action begins in Forsyth, Montana, and continues on to Miles City, Butte, Twin Bridges, Boulder, the state prison in Deer Lodge, Pocatello, Idaho, and the battlefields of World War I.
One Night In A Bad Inn was a finalist for the High Plains Books Awards Best First Book.
