Today's Highlight: The community of Stevensville is invited to attend a meeting TONIGHT for input to update the Stevensville Comprehensive Growth Plan. The Plan was last updated in July 2002 and copies of the plan are available at he Stevensville Main Street Office and Town Hall. The meetings will be held at 4:00 pm and at 7:30 pm at the Main Street Association Office, 102B Main Street. Call 777-3773 for further information.

The Northside/Westside Neighborhood Council will meet TONIGHT, March 19th, at 7:00 pm in the Stensrud Building, 314 North 1st Street West in Missoula. For a listing of agenda items or other information, call 552-6081.

Bozeman filmmaker Jennifer Grace will speak at the YWCA Missoula LUNAFEST fundraiser TONIGHT at the UC Theatre on the University of Montana campus in Missoula. Grace’s film, “Breaking Boundaries: The Sondra Van Ert Story” is featured in the national film festival that showcases short films made by and for and about women.

A “Labors of Love” silent auction begins at 6:00 pm and the films begin at 7:00 o’clock. General tickets are $10 with student prices at $7 and $9. Call Caitlin at 543-6691 with any questions.

Tomorrow night, March 20th, nationally known speaker, Peter Kornbluth, director of the Chile Documentation Project at the National Security Archive and the author of “The Pinochet File: A Declassified Dossier on Atrocity and Accountability,” will give a lecture about the role of the United States in the establishment of the military dictatorship in Chile. This free lecture will begin at 7:00 pm in the Carroll College Simperman Hall Wiegand Auditorium in Helena. For more information, call 447-5415.

The Headwaters RC&D Board and the Regional Development team invite the public to a meeting in Anaconda on Thursday, March 20th at 1:00 pm. The staff will present their latest program updates and successes to the board and public, and Anaconda will present its opportunities to the group as well. The meeting will be held at the Community Service Center, 118 East Seventh Street in Anaconda. Call 563-5538 for further information.

The Natural Parenting Center of Missoula invites all parents, grandparents, and other caregivers to a Conscious Parenting class that will be held at the Open Way Mindfulness Center from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm on Saturday, March 29th. The cost of this class is $25 and the registration deadline is this Saturday, March 22nd. Call 543-6053 to register or for more information.

All skiers are invited to participate in the Equinox Ski Challenge, a Nordic ski race fundraiser for the West Yellowstone Food Bank and the Manaia Youth Programs. The race is open to both relay teams and soloists choosing to race for either 6, 12, or 24 hours and will take place this Saturday and Sunday, March 22nd and 23rd at the Rendezvous Ski Trails in West Yellowstone. A free photography workshop called “How to take Great (Habitat) Pictures 101” will take place on Monday, March 24th from 6:30 – 8:00 pm at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, 202 Brooks in Missoula. An “Evaluating a Business Idea” workshop will be given in Butte next Wednesday, March 26th. Information on writing a business plan, marketing, cash flow projections, industry profiles, loan information and many other topics will be offered from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at the Business Development Center, 305 West Mercury Street, Room 209.
