Welcome to The Write Question, a program that explores the world of writing and publishing in the western United States. Our guest today is author Joe McGeshick from Bozeman, Montana.
McGeshick was born and raised on the Fort Peck Indian Reservation in northeastern Montana. He is of Chippewa, Sioux, and Assiniboine ancestry. His short story collection Never Get Mad At Your Sweetgrass, was released last summer. He is also the author of a volume of poetry, The Indian in the Liquor Cabinet and Other Poems. McGeshick’s work has appeared in Big Sky Journal, The Tributary, The New Perspective, and The Cimarron Review, among others.
