Today's Highlight: Pierre Boulez first conducted the Chicago Symphony Orchestra in 1969. Then in the early 1990s he started doing annual residencies with the orchestra. Last season Boulez was named Conductor Emeritus. He conducts Mahler’s Symphony No. 7 in this broadcast. And we honor soon-to-be-retiring clarinetist Larry Combs, in a performance of Mozart’s Clarinet Concerto, with conductor Semyon Bychkov.
