Today's Highlight: Tuesday, August 21st The Mullan Trail Boy Scout District will hold its monthly meeting as follows: Today, the District Commissioners’ Meeting will be at 5:30 pm located at the St. Patrick Hospital Conference Rooms. On Thursday, August 23rd, the District Roundtable Meeting will be held at 7:00 pm located at LDS Church at 3050 South Ave West. All Scouters are invited to each of the meetings. The Montana Natural History Center’s Prairie Keepers will host the Wildflower and Wild Grass Seed Collection Workshop tonight at 7 pm. Located at the Nature Adventure Garden at Fort Missoula. Get the late bloomers: blanket flower, yarrow and more. This is a great activity for children and families. Seeds will be used in local restoration efforts, and volunteers may take some home. The American Red Cross will host Blood Drives today and all this week. The Blood Mobile will be at Plumb Creek Lumber Company in Pablo today from 1 to 5 pm. A Blood drive will also be at the Trout Creek Community Church, located at 11 Larch St today from 3 to 6 pm. For more locations and times, call 543-6695.
All families currently displaced by fire are welcome to participate in the Missoula Family YMCA as members at no cost. If you have been displaced by fire and would like to have mentally, socially, and/or physically healthy activities for yourself or your family, please call the YMCA today at 721-YMCA.
