Morning Classics for August 13, 2007 8:10 AM - 10:00 AM
Today's Highlight: Danzi: Trio for Horn, Violin, and Bassoon in F, Op. 24; Mozart: Piano Sonata in F, K. 332; Beethoven: Piano Trio #4 in B-flat, Op. 11; Mendelssohn: Variations Concertantes, Op. 17; Martinu: Variations on a Theme of Rossini; Weiner: Hungarian Wedding Dance; Schubert: Five Menuette, D. 89
The classical section of the Montana Public Radio music library is an amazing resource, and Terry Conrad uses it fully. He's been selecting the Morning Classics music for over 30 years. His approach is eclectic and educational. You may hear a piece for solo tuba, next to a Mozart sonata. And contemporary composers and those lesser known get equal time with the masters.
Morning Classics is hosted by William Marcus, Susan Israel, Linda Talbott, Michael Marsolek, and Tom Cook .
