Today's Highlight: Mozart: Sonata in A-Major for Flute and Guitar; Lauber: Four Medieval Dances for Flute and Harp; Jonqen: Danse Lente for Flute and Harp; Cowell: Triple Rondo for Flute and Harp; Beethoven: Piano Sonata in E, Op. 109; Bach/Hess: "Jesu, Joy of Man's Desiring"; Schubert: Three Songs for Flute and Piano; Rachmaninoff: Vocalise, Op. 34 for Cello and Piano, #1 - 3, & 8; Brahms: Two Intermezzi for Piano
The classical section of the Montana Public Radio music library is an amazing resource, and Terry Conrad uses it fully. He's been selecting the Morning Classics music for over 30 years. His approach is eclectic and educational. You may hear a piece for solo tuba, next to a Mozart sonata. And contemporary composers and those lesser known get equal time with the masters.
Morning Classics is hosted by William Marcus, Susan Israel, Linda Talbott, Michael Marsolek, and Tom Cook .
