Morning Classics for March 02, 2007 8:10 AM - 10:00 AM
Today's Highlight: N. Chedeville: Sonata in C #5 for Flute; J.S. Bach: Suite #5 in C-Minor for Solo Cello; J.S. Bach: Two-Part Inventions in C and F; A. Reicha: 18 Variations and a Fantasy for Flute, Violin, and Cello, Op. 51; Brahms: Clarinet Quintet in B-Minor, Op. 115
The classical section of the Montana Public Radio music library is an amazing resource, and Terry Conrad uses it fully. He's been selecting the Morning Classics music for over 30 years. His approach is eclectic and educational. You may hear a piece for solo tuba, next to a Mozart sonata. And contemporary composers and those lesser known get equal time with the masters.
Morning Classics is hosted by William Marcus, Susan Israel, Linda Talbott, Michael Marsolek, and Tom Cook .
