The Hamilton Gun Show will begin March 2nd and continue through the 4th at the First Interstate Building in the Ravalli County Fairgrounds. The show will be open to the public at 2pm on Friday and again Saturday and Sunday at 9am. For details or to reserve a table, call 363-0224.

The Milltown Redevelopment Working Group will host their monthly meeting tonight at the Lutheran Church in Bonner at 6:30pm. They will go over the regular progress update of the Superfund Site remediation, restoration and redevelopment. For details, call 370-6584.

The Watershed Education Network, a non-profit Missoula-based organization dedicated to fostering knowledge of watershed health is beginning a 10 year water data-gathering effort. If you are interested in participating, call 541-9287.

The Kalispell Branch of the American Association of University Women will host their annual springtime book sale April 13th through the 15th. Barrels will be placed at businesses around Kalispell to gather books from the community. For details on where you can drop your books, call 755-8125.

The Friends of the Historic St. Mary’s Mission will host a friendly family brunch of scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, muffins, pancakes and more. Proceeds benefit the preservation of the Mission. It will be held March 4th. To attend, call 777-2505.

The InnerRoads Wilderness Program of the Youth Homes in Missoula will host an evening with Daniel Mazur, a climbing guide atop Mount Everest. He will lead, “Life and Death at 28,000 Feet.” It will begin Feb. 28th at 7pm in the University Theatre. For details, call 721-0034.

The University of Montana presents “Miss Julie,” a play by August Strindberg. It will begin Feb. 27th and continue to March 10th. For specific show times or tickets, call 243-4581.

The O’Shaughnessy Center in Whitefish will host a performance of the class Hansel and Gretel – with larger than life puppets this Sunday, March 4th at 1 and 4pm. For tickets to this unique event, call 862-5371.

The Tibetan Children’s Education Foundation will host a Tibetan New Year’s Celebration March 2nd at 7pm. It will feature a Tibetan style dinner, music, silent auction and Tibetan bazaar. It will be held at the Missoula children’s Theatre. For details, call 550-2511.

Relay for Life will host a Team Captain informational meeting Feb. 27th at 7pm in the University Center room 326. Attend to learn how to recruit and motivate team members. Call 243-5177 for details.

Feb. 27th is Spay Day USA and the Humane Society of the United States is offering a number of fun ways to get involved. To find out what your humane society is doing, call your local branch.

The Missoula Public Library will host a meeting of the library’s new Socrates Café, an informal philosophical discussion hosted by UM Professor Kelly McGannon. It begins Feb. 28th at 7pm. For details, call 721-2665.
