Today's Highlight: "One Family of Jazz" An all-star cast celebrates a shining addition to Broadway in the premiere performance from Jazz at Lincoln Center's Frederick P. Rose Hall. Ed Bradley hosts as Ellis, Branford, Delfayeo and Jason Marsalis join Tony Bennet, Dr. Michael White, Roy Haynes, Marcus Roberts and Artistic Director Wynton Marsalis with the Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra to celebrate the world's first auditorium designed for the sound of Jazz. We'll hear Body and Soul, Sing, Sing, Sing, Lost in the Stars, and more.
Jazz at Lincoln Center's Peabody Award–winning radio series, Jazz From Lincoln Center, is hosted by Wynton Marsalis and broadcast weekly to over 240 public radio affiliates nationwide through the Jazz Satellite Network. The show features the Lincoln Center Jazz Orchestra along with contemporary jazz composers and performers.
