Tonight on Montana Evening Edition, December 21
In 1992, Sara Weaver was only 16 years old when her mother was shot and killed in front of her by an FBI sniper. Her younger brother and a U.S. Marshall had been shot and killed the day before - starting a siege of her family's home on Ruby Ridge, Idaho that lasted eleven days and had repercussions that last to this day. Weaver has a new book out about that experience and her journey since, titled "From Ruby Ridge to Freedom: The Sara Weaver Story." Weaver and her family now live in Kalispell. In tonight's feature interview, Weaver talks with News Director Sally Mauk about her book - and her journey to forgiveness...
