Michelle Sare - Feature Interview
Public health nurse Michelle Sare had just arrived in Haiti last January 12th, when the earthquake struck. She had gone there to teach a class at a Haitian nursing school but ended up treating the victims of the earthquake. Sare is CEO of Nurses for Nurses International, based in Hall, Montana, and also teaches at the MSU School of Nursing. This summer she went back to Haiti for three weeks to teach a public health course at that country’s only nursing school. In this feature interview, Sare talks with News Director Sally Mauk about how different this trip was, than the one she took in January: Michelle Sare Feature Interview from 08/17/2010[MP3].
